Aladdin & the genie of unlimited wishes

There is a tale of magic. Our story begins on the sands of Arabia. It is the dawn of a new day with new adventures for Aladdin and his cat Kira. The village awakens to so much worry - there is barely any water in the well. In the palace gardens it is the same for Princess Jasmine and her friends.

Aladdin climbs over the palace walls to escape from the villagers. He meets Princess Jasmine, who is sad that the gardens are dying from lack of water. Aladdin has an idea - some time ago he had found a magical lamp - perhaps now is the time to test its unlimited powers!! Rubbing it brings about the the exciting arrival of a surprising Genie!

The kingdom and its people rejoice as water is restored to the land, and they celebrate the love of Aladdin and Jasmine.

It is believed the Universe is formed by the four elements: Earth, Air, Fire and Water. Each of the four elements contains its own unique properties: Rawness and groundedness with Earth; action ideas and motion with Air; passion, dynamism and temperament with Fire; intuition and mystery with Water. Together they form the natural world through their interdependence of one another. This dance production will portray these elements and their characteristics through the medium of belly dance combined with spectacular music, costumes and props.
